Help! Lost the scoop from the box of laundry soap

I use tide powder in a top load with a regular agitator tub (no bells and whistles here, lol) anyway, the scoop is MIA and I need to do laundry...does anyone know the conversion measurements from the scoop that comes in the box to a standard measuring cup? I normally wash full/large loads rarely ever a small one. TIA

I've learned recently from articles I've been reading on-line, that we use TOO MUCH detergent -- not necessary. The detergent companies tell us to use an excessive amount so we use it up and buy more. I use liquid detergent and use 1/4 of what I used previously. You can use plastic spoons - and just use a little!!!! If u have an HE washing machine --- it uses way less than older washers.

ITA. I purchased a heavy weight serving spoon and use that. I recycle that scoop with each box.

Correction: I have Cheer brand laundry Powder. It is not the ultra formula nor is it the HE type. It's a large 120 load box of powder hence my confusion with the measurements, lol

Is there an 800 number you could call for advice?

Yes but no answer maybe because it's the weekend.

I am so used to coming here for advice I didn't even consider their website. I did google the question but there was just too much other info to sort through, lol I did just check on Cheer.com and at the very bottom on their home page is a product FAQ and look what I found...yep my answer. Thank you!

The easiest way to measure the right amount of Cheer is to use the scoop in the carton of Cheer powder or the measuring cap on Cheer liquid laundry detergent. If you don't have these, we suggest the following:
Powder Cheer: medium load ~3/8 cup; large load ~1/2 cup
Liquid Cheer: medium load ~1/5 cup; large load ~1/4 cup

You could do the math - take the amount of detergent in the box (should be in oz) and divide by 120- that will tell you the oz per load then there are 8 oz in a cup so if it is say 2 oz per load it would be a 1/4 cup.

OK, I'll bite, 211 oz divided by 120 = 1.75...does this mean use less than 1/4 per load? As you can see math is NOT my thing...well I was good at it in school but my 40 something brain doesn't work the same as it used to, lol
