Help For Wall Paper Border Residue

Question girls...I have decided to take down the wall paper borders in my bedrooms, pretty successful in getting the paper down...now I'm left with bits of border backing and glue...I've read about Trisodium phosophate...Anyone used this or have any other ideas..Thanks!
