Last year I purchased a deep mattress with a 3 ft. wide box spring. This is the first time that I'm not using a bedskirt. So tired to having to lift up the mattress to slide on the bedskirt --- very bad for my aching back.

If you are happy that is all that matters.  It's always fun to pick out the bed or headboard and furniture and rugs.
