OK, that is just ugly, adds nothing, and completely looks out of place.

Perhaps in a large rustic barn room space with some western accents/artwork or even some mounted animal heads or something...

 

My first  thought was “oh, that is lovely ... 😂!!!

 

The rest of the room is OK - but this wall hanging needs to go...

It looks like a piece of leather that was hung to look like a headboard but to me it is ugly.
