@lucymo  These are ADORABLE---but anything with feathers is too tempting for my cats---they love feathers...Cat LOL   I bought a small owl from Pier One last year, and put it in a fall wreath, high up in my kitchen and away from kitties.... Smiley Wink

I bought a couple of crows one year from the Dollar Tree. I found one who was mauled that must have fallen away from the display.

Luckily, it was cheap because SOME dog just had to play with it!

I received the set of two owls from Improvements today, and they are nothing like the set I have, as there are no feathers at all on the chests, and they are smaller, so I will call tomorrow to get a refund, and will not reorder.  I couldn't believe it when I saw them, and there were other flaws.

Update:  I sent an email and attached phtos of the owls I received yesterday to customer service, and a picture of their website owls, no longer there, and just received an email that I will be refunded entirely, and I don't have to return them.  I will put them in the Salvation Army bag.  I am glad Susan Louise and whomever else ordered these,   received a good set.

I stopped by Big Lots after work and saw some nice Fall and Halloween decor.  Took some pics:

Hi Peter, No pic necessary. Just an eyeball measurement would be help enough. Still trying to decide if it is worth the $$$.

Thanks!

@SHOPR, I was at Pottery Barn yesterday and was finally able to check out the mosaic pumpkin in person.  The opening at the bottom is pretty wide.  I'd say it's about the diameter of the mouth of a pint glass.  You could definitely fit a large soup can in it.  Better late than never! Lol

I was at Home Goods yesterday looking for storage containers for my scrapbooking items, and there are still wonderful harvest decor items on display.

I hope you are lucky with the wreath you will recieve. I just sent my Finley Hill wreath back yesterday. My Finley Hill wreath from Grandin Road was not at all like pictured. The bow was in horrible condition, i could not even fix it. The rest of the wreath did really not look much like in the picture. And the back of the wreath , i guess it suspose to be grapevine ,was so messy, lots of pieces came off. My kitchen counter was full of the mess it made. The back side of the wreath is made of some very soft grapevine i have never seen before.
