What do you think of these hanging decorative screens? 

Ths first one which possibly hides an ugly staircase or stairwell is ok. Depending on the area, I would prefer either no wall, a partial wall, or a full wall. The intricate designs would make them difficult to keep clean too. Not something I would choose for my home.

I like the ones by the stairs for a finished basement, but probably won't have them in the main living areas unless the room was gigantic.

I could see one of these in an efficiency apartment to define a space.

I really like the idea of these but they are a little too ornate for me and would prefer something solid.

All have some appeal and while I like the concept, I'm not sure I'd want to live with the reality over the long term.
