Wouldn't be that bad without the orange walls and black floor.

I love orange for use in accent pieces but wouldn't want a wall (or entire room) done in it.  I also don't care for much of the furniture either.

I don't mind the couch, curtains or the throw pillows. The orange wall with the tree is too much. I wouldn't mind a few orange accessories though!

Re: Halloween Room?

[ Edited ]

LOL!!! I don't think so.

My neighbors house has some rough cedar siding at the top of brick area on sides of house. We were told by the painter he wanted to paint it fluorescent orange. He said he talked him out of it because it does not go with the color of the brick. He painted it red with black trim. It reminds me of the Gothic look?

It's kind of cool looking, but NO.  Looks like something Ozzie & Sharon would have, if it had a bat hanging from the tree and replaced the light couch with black, or dark brown.

I don't hate it.

But then I like orange... and trees.

It's too modern for my tastes. But I do like the color palate.

Just think one would tire of it easily. I'm more about timeless/classic for things that you want to last a long time, like home decor.

What do you think of this room?

The black, or maybe it’s a deep dark brown, along with the orange make me think of Halloween. I think all the elements in the room work together, but I wouldn’t want orange walls. I would get tired of the tree art very quickly. Other than the pillows I’m not really loving any of the furniture or accessories.

This is the perfect example of taste being individual.  The room works and the colors flow together.  But those orange walls would never work for me.
