Haan vs Haan

I have been using Haan steam cleaners for about 4 years. I got the original yellow boxy one and then upgraded to the Slim and Light when it was a TSV a couple of years ago. I use both of them but prefer the Slim and Light since it can get under the cabinet edges. I recently got another Haan Slim and Light (V26283) as a back up - it was a great price and had free shipping. I tested it out this morning and although it worked well, I noticed several things when comparing it to my original Slim and Light. This new one is made in China despite the description saying Made in Korea - the first one was made in Korea and seems a little sturdier. This new one has a longer cord but it is a flat cord with a 2 prong plug. The original Slim and Light has a round cord with a 3 prong plug. Not sure what difference it makes but it is different. The new one worked well but made more thumping noises when heating up then the original one. I am not unhappy with my back up purchase but I was disappointed with the differences.
