HSN's Countertop Water Filters Going Away

[ Edited ]

The Clean & Pure brand water filters which have been sold on HSN for decades is going away according to their rep, Bob Circosta, who said they can no longer make them due to supply issues.  Their last 40,000-gallon countertop filter is on clearance now for about 50%-off...FYI.

They sold for $48.95 each. They don't have a replaceable filter. The entire unit IS the filter and when it reaches 40,000-gallons of use then you toss it.

You are right this make I have ,and no replaceable filter is needed , the water taste so crisp and so clear looking in a glass.I paid full price, but was a happy shopper with this product.Sorry to see that company is not going to be making any more, guess it is a sign of the time we live in.

The only thing I know it will be out living me as they say this one will last 40 years, maybe it should be left in a will if that is true.

That's too bad. Even if they could get what they need the price would go up so much people might not buy them.

We have a reverse osmosis system since it's better then dragging home bottled water.

I don't like the fact that grocery stores & Walmart have stopped stocking the larger sizes.

I buy a lot of organic frozen fruit which are now in the smallest bag ever. I will keep buying the larger bags from Aldi's when they have them.
