HOW TO MAKE GLASS FISHING FLOATS USING CLEAR CHRISTMAS ORNAMENTS

Looks easy! I remember a discussion about fishing floats a while ago. Here's a tutorial for those who are interested . . .

For a moment, whitelinen, I thought we were going fishing. But I see you're making home decor. Lovely, especially for those who live on/near the beach. And those balls are very "in" right now.

Whitelinen, thanks so much for the link to the DIY project. Even my klutzy self should be able to do it. I love the colors of fishing floats and beach glass, but the real ones are too expensive for my budget.

Thank you for sharing. I have two of the real ones but never knew what to do with them. I may try something like this if I can find them.

i love the buoy - but not the nets!! i am always drawn to any kind of decorative sphere. last year i made a couple of dozen of these in two different sizes to display. the prices that the home decor stores charge are just crazy!!!!!

Hi all. Goodwill is a great source for inexpensive glassware. You might be able to find smaller goldfish orbs there that will make the larger spheres.
