Re: HOW DO YOU PACKAGE YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFTS? BAGS OR BOXES WITH RIBBON BOWS?

I like to get matching paper of color and designs. I use a different design for each person. I like to use curling ribbon because I can use different colors together. I like to make some short curls, med curls then long curls.

I think everyone enjoys unwrapping a box with a big bow, especially the grandkids, so I wrap as many as I can and use gift bags for those things I just can't put in a box.

A combination. I used to work very diligently to create beautiful packages, but now do only a few... and opt for very pretty gift bags for more gift items than used to be the case.

Some things go in bags, but mostly I gift wrap. Just with wrapping paper and NO curly ribbon as I have cats!

I wrap almost everything, and also use some bags. But, no ribbons in this house. We also have a cat who will eat or chew on any ribbons or bows, lol.

I'm part of the gift bag contingent !!

Colored or foil tissue papers ..... and lovely gift bags ...... and if someone might be tempted to peek inside, I add a sprinkling of tinsel to the bag to cover the package. {#emotions_dlg.thumbup1}

Depending on the size of the item/gift, I want to try to wrap it. If it's odd shaped or to large, I will find a bag for it. There's something about pretty paper and ribbons or bows. That's just me.

Re: HOW DO YOU PACKAGE YOUR CHRISTMAS GIFTS? BAGS OR BOXES WITH RIBBON BOWS?

Both. As other said, it depends on the gift. I love wrapping and making bows. I have made bows for over 50 years and refresh the big velvet ones on my wreath every year. I wish I could post a photo here, but I don't know how. I only use Hallmark paper, too, because it doesn't rip and holds up better. Love wired ribbon and buy tons of it at Michaels. Before the wire ribbon became popular I used ribbon that I could loop and loop and cut in the middle and make bows.

Sometimes I think the wrapping costs more than the actual gift!

No bags under the tree, Christmas paper only, no energy for bows!

I like to wrap with really pretty paper and I use bows. I try not to use bags, but sometimes it can't be helped.
