I agree totally I love the homes but the decor is always too ethnic. I sent them an email asking them to replace their interior decorator she is absolutely the worst.  I stopped entering the contests because if I ever won which would never happen I would have to re do the whole house. The interior designer has terrible taste it is like she has a one track mind for all the homes and does the interior in the same obnoxios ethnic design. It is so offensive for anyone with any taste. 

 

They should design it more upscale in a more basic way with eggshell or lighter walls and not with all the clutter and craziness that she uses to design the interiors. 

 

HGTV really needs to do better I don't even enter any longer.
