@lolakimono - I'm just guessing here, but during those times I think if you had the extra money there was a tub in your room. My guess is this was a "luxury suite"! Also, I don't think there were bathrooms as we know them today.

I think it’s ok for a B & B and if there’s a toilet too.

Some people are freaked out by a bathroom IN a "master" bedroom.

First thing I did when I moved into my house was remove the door to the bathroom.

The way the rooms are laid out, you really can't see anything in the bathroom from the bedroom and the door was in the way.

I would not want a view of a toilet from the bed, but a bathtub is OK

I would love to see the rest of the room. This is a room I would love to stay in on vacation. It's different and fun...for your permanent residence ...maybe not but vacation.. YES.

I wouldn’t want it in my home, but I do find it to be interesting. I like the rich woods.

No worse than those rooms in the Poconos in Pa that have champagne glass tubs in them. Some Sandals resorts have tubs on the balcony with curtains around it. I guess it’s a new thing. Nice if that’s what you want in a room. I just want a well stocked mini bar.
