Had new seamless gutters and leaf guards installed four years ago and couldn't be more pleased. We live in the woods with many pine trees that shed every year. Have not had to clean the gutters since the installation. The covers were just as expensive as the gutters themselves, but I don't have to worry about DH climbing and possibly falling off the ladder. We have the ones with very small drain holes in them. They were the most expensive, but worth every penny. I guess you get what you pay for when it comes down to it, and it actually saved us money in the long run.

We had seamless gutters and downspouts put on our home a few years ago and they are such an improvement. Now, we still use gutter screens and the downspout guards because we are surrounded by pine trees. It's those pine needles that are the real problem. I looked at all the gutter systems and screens out there but our gutter guys told us that nothing works against the pine needle problem. Over the years we have purchased three types of gutter screens and they were all about the same result. The seamless gutters seem to make the best improvement for us used with the average gutter screen and the downspout guards.

Save your $$ and take your time to check out the claims and reviews. I had sticker shock when we were getting quotes for just the screens!
