Green Gobbler Rave!

[ Edited ]

I have a slow drain in the shower my kids use.  They have long hair and seem to use a lot of shampoo and conditioner.  LOL.   no matter what I try, the drain is very slow.

I happened to be in Home Depot and saw the Green Gobbler.  I've watched the QVC presentations, but I was somewhat skeptical.

Anyway, I bought it.  I followed the directions, and I have to say it really, really works.  And it works fast.  It was very easy to use, no harmful chemicals, and no horrible odor.

Now that the drain is clear, I am going to use a packet every month for mainteance.

I HAD to read what you think of this product.  FUnny - the last week or two my shower drain has been draining slow - AGAIN.  I don't want to use the liquid plumber stuff or anything like it anymore and I thought of the Green Gobler as well.

Knowing they do sell it here, I wanted to read reviews on it.  Well if you found it in your local home depot, I'd hope to see it in my local lowe's.  We have home depots here but none are close by.

So you've convinced me to get some - soon I hope.  And I also believe this product is pipe/erosion safe too.  So thanks for your review!!!

I searched for it, and it popped up at my local Home Depot.  I ran over there and bought it.  I didn't want to wait for it.  LOL

I don't really like the liquid drain cleaners.  I heard they're bad for the pipes.

I hope you like it as much as I do.

Good to hear.  My plumber chewed me out because I was using liquid stuff when dog's bath clogged the tub drain.  He said there was evidence of acid damage already.

Soooo I just bought from the Q one order for me and two (18 packets) for my rental property.  We've had one stubborn drain due to tenanats with long hair.  I haven't heard from my maintenace guy yet on how it worked and I haven't used it yet in my home - as I don't have any slow drains to prove it works or doesn't. But so happy to hear you ladies have had success!
