I've been waiting and watching for this to comeback or go down in price, Today's Woot has it at under $220 (plus tax/shipping).  I am thrilled!

Caution - I was told the battery ones are catching fire and Bissell said to stop using.

My relative knew I just bought one - I always go for the corded - so no problem.

I've had 3 of the cordless models, I think one of them is one that has been re-called. This model has not....YET! I had actually looked for a corded model but I think this one is cordless only. With 14 cats we are always cleaning up something so it is worth it to me, we do not keep the charger plugged in 24/7 which I know some folks do...that just makes me nervous.

If this was recalled, as I heard, nobody should be selling it.  Maybe there are multiple models and only one present a hazard?
