Re: Great Pillows-TS -Mangano

I ordered the platinum at midnight. I can always use new pillows b/c I've always got some that need throwing away. I'm happy she said any pillowcases will work, too. Just ordered some new darker gray bamboo sheets so the platinum will look great with them. Also interested in the warm/cool sides. It'll be interesting to see if that is, indeed, the case.

I've got three - two lavender, one platinum. Love them. Best pillows I have ever used.

Re: Great Pillows-TS -Mangano

It is funny how a pillow is such a personal item.

I got one first time around, and it was so heavy. Hot side/cold side, I was always on the wrong side. I did not feel my head 'sink into a cloud'. I ended up sending it back.

Yet, they must not have had a huge return rate, because this is the second TSV with this pillow and already 125,000 sold. It was over 100,000 last time.

Now, on the other hand, many people are not happy with "My Pillow", and for me, I could buy 10 of those pillows so I can have them everywhere! haha

Different strokes for different folks. It is why the world is so interesting. There is a pillow out there for everyone!

Haven't we all spent a fortune on pillows{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I didn't get the Joy TS, but bought 2 of the My Pillows a year or so ago and still loving them.

I especially like I can wash them often (at least once a month in my house) and they hold up so well.

I may try Joy's in the future.

Re: Great Pillows-TS -Mangano

Well, I took the bait. No, I take that back. DH was watching the presentation with me and wanted me to order them. I have a MyPillow that I love and even take with me when we travel. DH, on the other hand, isn't as enamored with his MyPillow. We still have older kids living at home who tried MyPillows, but I don't think they gave them a fair chance or bothered to learn how to use them. They'll buy cheap pillows for themselves and then complain that they don't last. All that said, I bought two sets of Joy's. I did read that they can't be laundered (spot clean only) so I think I'm going to get some zippered pillow covers to put on them before slipping the pillowcase on.

Typical Joy...They change the item number so the previous poor reviews aren't easy to find. I also see that people find it too difficult to pack up her products and send them back so they just keep them and never use them!

How do you wash them if they say not too?? That would be gross not to wash your pillow.

I can't tell you how many items I refused to purchase because I could not read the previous reviews on their products....yet the hosts keep saying there are hundreds of them...where the h e l l are they ???? lol I am beginning to not trust HSN ....never was a big shopper there and its slowly fading into not at all...

As to the JM pillows....I want to be able to launder my pillows and hers are not washable.. I have six My Pillows around the house and I love them....I wash them weekly...nothing like a fresh smelling pillow to lay your head on.....with or without a pillowcase...

I'm getting zippered pillow covers for mine, to put on the pillow before the pillowcase goes on it. When it's time to freshen the pillow, the covers can go in the washer and dryer and the actual pillow can air out outdoors.
