(The first thing that came to mind  was some kind of offering table for a cult like you would see on TV! 😂) Sorry, have not had my coffee yet...

 

But anyhow - to have such a statement piece for your table, would you not want chairs that also had the same impact when you walked in the room - those are definitely not it! Kind of wimped out on the chairs I think.

The table is definitely dramatic and has its place in perhaps a log cabin lodge in Northern Minnesota?  However, the chairs, artwork and basket hanging on the wall seem like afterthoughts and actually take away from impact of the table.
