That's what the article calls it. On the market for $799, 900 in Foxborough MA. Home of Gillette Stadium, where the Patriots play.

I love the exterior, it's so unique and special. It's also in a neighborhood of unique homes.

For those who have had the childhood dream of living in a gingerbread house, the home  in Foxborough resembles just that, in a 19th-century antique sort of way.

Listed for $799,900, the house is also referred to as the “Carpenter Gothic Home,” according to its listing. The home, built in 1835,  is dressed in its original green, listing agent Gil Campos said in an interview with Boston.com. It underwent an extensive renovation in 2003 that added the entire left side of the home and restored the look of the original exterior, among other upgrades and renovations.

“The … decorative features are all wooden and handmade,” Campos said of the intricate details along the roofline. “They really did a lot of work to this house and it shows."

If you click on the highlighted word listed you can see the listing and all the photos.

And "added the entire left side" shows the restoration process.

@Greeneyedlady21  Love it. I have family in Massachusetts and there are a few houses similar to this in their neighborhood.

So very 😎!

It kind of reminds me of a Charles Wysocki well-known Halloween artwork:

I love that the interior hasn't been modernized so much that it's out of character with the exterior. I bet the buyer will do that though.

Love "Carpenter Gothic"--  we have one small example in our town.  This Massachusetts one is super!

IRe: Gothic Gingerbread House

This house is lovely and so appealing.  There are some changes I would make to suit my style and taste but I do love it!!!!  The fact of its location sells me completely as I love The New England area.
