So I took the day off from work today and went up to Bed, Bath, Beyond. Apparently, they will be closing soon, so it looks like they are starting to sell off inventory. I needed twin sheets and I’m so picky, I have a hard time buying them because I do not want to pay a kings ransome. Anyway, they had their Homegrown brand on sale. Not familiar with them, but what I liked is on several brand displays they had a pillowcase hanging out so I could feel the fabric. I never ever buy sateen sheets because I don’t care for the slip on the fabric. However, these are 100% cotton, rich weave and while they are sateen, they aren’t super slippery and I actually liked them. Paid 15.99 a sheet set and had the 20% off coupon. I just finished washing them up and they are great. Very soft. Wrinkly? Yeah but I don’t care about that. Happy🤷🏻‍♀️

I surely care if they wrinkle.  I don't want sheets that come out of the dryer looking like an unmade bed.  This includes high thread count sheets.  I want smooth and soft.

I get that. My mom had a thing for wrinkled sheets. My job as a kid was to iron them. So I swore I would never iron sheets...lol.  Honestly, even if they went on not wrinkled one night in the bed and it looks like they went through a ringer. I’m a wild sleeper and hubs wraps up in the sheets. Drives me nuts 🥜
