Re: Good Bones Design Challenge: Ugly Lamp

Really like the way the ribbon looks like waves...or seaweed.

The shade has ‘movement’.

Very nice @lolakimono , you are so creative! Thanks for sharing yor project.  I didn't see how the shade would go, but it absolutely does.  Did you have to do anythng special to bring out the pattern in the shade, or was spraypainting sufficient?  This is sure to brighten your work space!  And greetings to your kitty!

@lolakimono

Obviously you are WAY cooler than I am!

Your lamp is Great!  Really like what you did with it.

Never would have thought of the Sharpie detailing, it does bring out those fishes.

Now you Can't take it to school, 'cause it would be a shame it it were to be broken.

Your design assistant is super, what is his name?

Congratulations.

No- just the spray paint.  I didn't do a million coats, because I like the way you can see different shades within the shade.

This kitty is full of purrsonality.  She's a charmer, fur sure!

That lamp weighs more than a bowling ball, so it's probably sturdy enough...Cat Surprised

My assistant in this picture is actually my lady cat, Aubrey.  She is special because she is also polydactyl.
