Re: Going Retro - Adding Color !

Great color, good find. I've almost always preferred white fixtures, but I miss the days when we used to regularly see more options. They're still out there but harder to find and usually at a seriously premium price.

Wayfair carries Elkay sinks in colors. Sorry, can't post links but I think Elkay is still made in the US? Might try their homepage.

Going for Rustic Cabin/Farmhouse look. I like this Delta Foundations faucet and the measurements work.

Hickory or Sap Hickory cabinets. If I go with Hickory, I'll be preparing canned soup in my kitchen for a LONG time! 😪

Re: Going Retro - Adding Color !

Beautiful color. I hate double sinks though.  I know many like them, I'm just not one of them.   Give me a large and deep single sink.

One thing I've learned here is buy what you love!

I'n not one for shopping Big Box, mass produced stores, I picked up this American Standard double bowl kitchen sink at a Habitat Restore type of place. New, still in the original carton.  Likely from 1989 or so.

DS thought I was nuts to make the trip but he came along to lend a hand.

@Bridgegal I feel the same way....we've had a single large bowl sink for years.  When I go to my mother's there is a double sink and find it harder to use.

It's nice but not for me.  I am not into red but enjoy your new sink.

@Snowpuppy

Definitely a statement piece.  I've never seen a red sink before but I like it.

Thanks for sharing.
