I've got to find some crochet patterns!! I just think they are so cute.

The other item, I'd like is one of those old red trucks with a Christmas tree in the back. They just speak to me. So cute.

@qualitygal I do have a VPH small (~2' x 3') hand-hooked black rug with the old red truck w/Christmas tree. I love it.

While shopping for my rescue gift baskets this year, I noted gnomes were everywhere, so I incorporated them into two baskets and bought backups for next year.

Also, Red Trucks seem to be picking up steam and I found some lovely quilts with that motif. The gnomes and red truck baskets sold quickly.

Both designs just make you smile. I'd love to see a crocheted gnome, so please post a picture if you make one.

Yes, I've always been drawn to gnomes, and think in a weak moment, I could let myself get into collecting the holiday ones!

However, I gave up the 2 things I started collecting (snow globes and lighthouses), because what I carefully selected for my collection, and the everything snow globe and lighthouse pieces I was gifted, "to grow my collection", ruined them. I am back to the original pieces of my collection, and have made the decision not to add to them, or start anything new.

But I like faceless gnomes best!
