@Desertdi Double or triple paned glass?
@Kachina624 Yeah! Triple pane to intensify the sun! It's 113° right now..........instant mummification. Wouldn't have to complain about my cold feet any more........ di
@Desertdi Tint, lots of tint.
113° huh, have you warmed up yet?
@Kachina624 I admit I am warm enough....but this might be a little of an overkill. Then, there are the fires. I was thinking if I have to evacuate, I would drive over to NM and price property........but NOW you folks don't want us coming in because of the Covid. Bummer(!!) di
PS: Breaking news on TV right now......AZ might have to close up again. Nothing "definite" yet.

@Desertdi I bet re-closing will go over big.

@Kachina624 Lines for testing are 3 miles long. Turnaround for results is 7 days, or more.

I like the modern style of pic #1. It seems to offer the most privacy.
The other 2, not at all. As is, they're too open. Modern isn't really my style as I prefer the coastal/cottage style.

I love modern, so I would move right in.

Beautiful to look at but definitely need a dark bedroom to
fall asleep in and any outdoor lights would drive me crazy.
Also I don't like bright light blaring through first thing in the
morning but I am usually up pretty early.

I'm in AZ.. On what station did you hear that?
@desertrat8 I don't recall......I switch around. However, as I mentioned, it was NOT a definite statement from Ducey. He is only saying he is going to PAUSE REOPENINGS at this time. Kind of ambiguous.....

Agreed, @wilma , never to live in! Too many problems, and just too much tedious "work" to try to maintain a reasonably normal, private life within such walls.
The architect Philip Johnson was famous for creating his "Glass House" in Connecticut in 1949. He lived in it for over 50 years-- but on his wooded property, he also had a conventional guest house made of brick, and I believe an underground art gallery!

No way could I live in something like this. I need my privacy!!
