I was really tempted to order the Duraflame electric fireplace/heater when it was offered at a lower OTO price last night. I like the design; they had some nice colors, and I thought it might save heating money and cozy up a couple of areas of our home, including our large, tile-floored master bath which is against an outside wall and tends to get chilly in winter. It would be nice to step out of the tub or shower into a room warmed by a cheery faux fireplace!

Glad I checked the reviews first! There were some positive ones, but also quite a few very low ratings from people who found the unit noisy, complained about rattling, and quite a significant number of folks whose heaters totally stopped working after just a short time of use. Some also complained of poor customer service response from the manufacturer. Yep.......so glad I didn't pull the trigger.
