I'm having a hard time focussing on them because of that rug. It looks so out of place to me.

The room is quite boring without the rug.  Don't care for the pictures around the fireplace.

Kind on an uninspired room.

All my life I have detested (sorry) those awful gilded frames.

I especially can't stand those ornate, Victorian style gold frames. As Jackie Kennedy once said, and I agree, they are "horrors."  Her remarks are in a book by J. B. West "Upstairs At The White House."

I've read it at least 20 times, it's great.

I don't care for the pictures.  Maybe they have some special meaning - painted by a friend or relative.  The ceiling in this room looks really low to me for some reason.

I only like the rug & the fact that there is a fireplace....I don't care for anything else.

I would prefer two or three larger paintings on the wall rather than all those smaller ones grouped together.  Also I love the rug but am not a fan of the couches.  The room needs a redo.

That ceiling looks like it's about 5ft high.  The pictures just emphasise it.  Horrible room.

The ceiling is to low for those pictures. To me the room is sterile and cold feeling. It doesn't come to life.
