Tree is down. Small winter tree stays up. It has lights and it is flocked. Snow men and ladies stay up. Lights in windows stay up. My favorite frosted owl stays. They all add to my house in the winter.

Not long for us, LOL.  I took everything down and put it away Christmas night.

We took the empty gift boxes to recycling yesterday.

House is all back to normal and I’m thrilled.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

@Hoovermom  This was the flocked tree in my bedroom last year and the year before. I didn't put it up this year.

Re: Getting Your House Back in Order ~ How long?

I put away all of my inside Christmas stuff this morning.  I took down one laser light from the backyard and will be doing the front soon.  Glad to have the house back to normal.

We had our Christmas dinner last night here in Nova Scotia.  Weather was awful Christmas day ... snow, freezing rain and power outages that ruined many Christmas dinners.  Some people are still without power two days later.  Very high winds.  Quite the introduction to winter!  LM

@Hoovermom  This was our living room tree from last year. I don't do the same trees each tree....I try and vary.

I’m leaving everything up until January 6th then on the 7th it will take me about 4 hours to get everything put away.

I'm having Hobby Lobby withdrawals.  I might have to go Friday night.
