Milan-stylish-luxury-apartments-you-will-want-to-see-reve-mirror-koket-projects.jpg

Do you agree that even a snippet of a room, reveals a lot about the person who decorated it?

If so inclined, please describe your perception of the sort of person who put together this room or vignette (what we can see of it).

All I know about it is that it is an apartment in Milan.

Be as detailed as you desire.  What do you personally like, if anything.  What do you dislike, and why.  But please don't forget to descibe the person who lives there!

Re: GLIMPSE OF MILAN APARTMENT

I think the person is a young male (late 20's or early 30's)

He has very good taste and also quite well to do.  He also dresses in excellent taste and has a very good housekeeper.  Probably drives a Farrari.

I love the mirror, the animal figurine and vase with single flower.  The chairs are not my type, but look stunning in this room.

I also think this is the apartment of a wealthy man.  The furnishings are cold and modern, a minimalistic feeling. There are no plants to soften the decor. The man likes to read as seen by the open book, and he is possibly a photographer.  I like the color of the chairs.

Re: GLIMPSE OF MILAN APARTMENT

I do not like the mirror and would change that.  The color on the chairs is appealing but not the chairs.  I like the decor, love books displayed.  In general it is a nice area but for me would require change to suit my taste.

I would think the person who lives there likes to mix design and takes a chance with different styles and touches.  The groupings are different  and blend in.  It doesn't strike me that this person sticks to one particular taste in the home and perhaps puts out what she likes  but does manage  to give a look that goes together!

I am sorry but I cannot make out the front piece that the books and statue are on.  It is dark.

This room speaks masculine to me.  I think he may have training in interior design or may be an interior decorator at present.

I also say it's a wealthy single male w/ exquisite tastes....they're just not mine.  I love the chairs though.

Musty old money.   I can smell it through my computer.

What is that monstrosity hanging on the wall?

Re: GLIMPSE OF MILAN APARTMENT

Certainly not my style but I find the room very interesting, especially the mirror which makes the room.  It's definite decorated by someone with panache and confidence.  It could be a no-nonsense, non-fluffy, very sophisticated woman-of-the-world.

I love the purple touches, the chairs and orchid.

Maybe owned by the lady in the photo on the mantle?

It's interesting that the title of the bottom book on the table is "Connecticut"!

Could be the owner has some tie to the USA Woman Wink

Re: GLIMPSE OF MILAN APARTMENT

It's a nice room - it has a masculine look - though not somewhere I would be comfortable.

I imagine the decorator is a male - about in his 40s.  Robust - nothing delicate about it.  Even the books have a masculine look to them.

The "animal" piece on the books look rather demonic.  A horse with horns?

I wonder why there is a book with the title "Connecticut" in Milan
