Always pay for purchases with a credit card. If there are problems with the items and the store/company won't take care of it - u could always call the credit card company to dispute the charge.

Once u pay cash or with a check - u won't have any recourse - except taking someone to court ---- which, many times, isn't possible.

Several years ago, I ordered an alarm clock on-line from 4alarmclocks dot com (they're CROOKS). They sent me a broken clock - fortunately, I photocopied the label they emailed to me to return the clock to them. They denied receiving the clock. I called my bank and was credited $75. I found the exact clock at Walmart for $9.00.

Most credit cards have buyer protection and extended warranty provisions.

It is good to pay with a credit card to get the additional protections as well as the ability to dispute the claim if something goes wrong.
