No pride in suffering for me.  We've had several days when we needed heat so I put it on.  We keep it on 68

I haven't turned on the heat yet; it's 65 inside at the moment.  I won't turn it on until the inside temp dips under 60, which hopefully won't be until late-November or December.

We are in Wisconsin and just turned ours on a few days ago, it is set at 67...We have however been using our Gas Fireplace already in the evenings, and early mornings as it is chilly the last couple of days! I don't like a super warm house, but my husband does, so all winter we try to compromise!

This winter it should be easier as we have a gas fireplace, in our last home we had wood burning. Easy to turn on and off now!

My apartment .... we have radiators w/steam heat.   Our heat is set to come on at some specific temperature.  It's been on overnight for a couple of weeks.

I have western exposure - so apartment is quite warm in the afternoons.

Seventy here in New England. It will go higher as needed. The damp feeling really bothers me.

I like it cool in my house especially at night so we haven't turned ours on either yet.

It has been on  for two months now... but last weekend it was about mid 60's and the air came on for awhile in the afternoon... but will not be many more days like that again until spring...

Haven't turned ours on yet.   But might do so tonight when I get home from work.  Temperatures are now in the 50's as a high and 30's as a low.
