Might be good to banish them from all your drains where they can breed.
A couple of years I saw them there and drowned them in ammonia.

There are 2 different types of these pests--drain flies and fruit flies. If they're fruit flies, the vinegar, etc will most likely work. If they're drain flies, they come up through the drain toward the light. Sometimes there's a pipe issue somewhere, but not always.
For drain flies, there are the chemical things that work like SureShot or others previously mentioned, but the key is to keep all the drains very clean and pour boiling water alternating with ice at different times of day, especially at night.
You can also pour some bleach down the drain as well, but some people dislike the smell,
