Is it the Queen Anne-style dining chairs and consoles that makes it 'French Inspired'?
Very open and bright room.
Needs a cocktail table by the two velvet chairs--where do I put my drink?!

When we put on the great room and the master suite additions to our large rancher, we chose to have the ceilings and a very wide border below them done in stained wood paneling. We chose a higher grade wood that had few “ knots “.
The beams in the photos are very distracting as the knots really call attention to themselves. A gorgeous stain would make the beams blend in a more attractive way and give a cohesive feel to the room which has quite a few things calling out for attention. Not as restful a look as it could be.

The space is wonderful and I like some of the elements, but some of the furniture isn't for me. I'd like to see these spaces warmed up a bit with less stark pieces and lighting... Overall, that large greatroom just looks sort of empty...

"Architect Claude Puaux led the interior design, working to realize the vision of 5B’s owner, a lauded master of French cuisine. To that end, Puaux engaged teams of old-world artisans to infuse the place with authentic Frenchness — a colorful, tactile mix of materials and treatments, carefully specified to evoke the ambiance of a rustic Chantilly manor house."

I love everything, especially the fireplace. Everything except the furniture.

I would add some touches here and there, furniture, wall pictures but on the whole the apartment is just beautiful.

Y’all need to take the ‘virual tour’! Almost has a ‘spanish’ feel to it..
lots of tile, wood. It’s ‘prewar-design’ & a condo, and bedrooms
bwing described as ‘gracious-sized’....so that’s code
it’s super small.
The kitchen is super bitty...and the bedroom closets?
I only saw one weirdly place nook outside the main bedroom
posing as a ‘closet.’(pics below). That closet is so odd!
But obviously...you’re paying for the upstairs view.
Check it out!

This may sound very odd to some, but, if I had $5 million to spend on a home, this condo is not even close to what I would want. The view is spectacular though, and all the intricate details are nice and conversation starters for sure, but I'm too simple a person to feel comfortable there.

Love the windows. I think the beams overwhelm this room.

Way too sterile looking for me. I like lots of stuff around.
