What do you think about the idea of drawing attention to the fixtures?

It's an interesting idea, but not in pink.  Better in the same color as the ceiling.

The rest of the room...black walls, pink flowered curtains, a lip drawn on the wall...don't think so.

It looks like an interesting room.

It seems to work.  I'm not sure I would do it.

Not crazy about the picture frame look.  I'd rather go with a regular medallion type fixture.

No, I don't like at all.

Maybe it's the square shape over the round fixture that is off. Pink frame definitely needs to be painted white to match the ceiling.

A larger white painted frame with a mirror mounted inside would look good!

I mounted a mirror inside a plain ceiling medallion above the DR chandelier. A great look, especially if the room has older, lower ceilings. Gives the fixture a lot more importance and looks even better at night when the fixture is lit, and that's when you want to bring the drama to your table.

I don't hate it, but I don't care for it in Pink.

I don’t care for the look either. The framed look and chandelier are not my style.

It's OK if you're into this type of Victorian/antique look and decor.  I'm not so I'd have to pass on this one.

The framed look is OK but the bubblegum pink is a No Way for me.
