Not a fan.

The second pictures, vertical ones, with the art on top were the ones that seemed better than the others.

If a picture had been damaged and then you painted half of it, still showing the most of the subject matter then maybe, just maybe you could script something atop of the paint such as Birds from Grandma's Window circa 1912.

I really do not know if that makes any sense, but the entire thing doesn't make sense and distracts.

That being said, the very first pic with the pale blue is pretty .. however, what is the point of covering up half sides of all of these pics with a plain color?  I don't get why someone would do that.
