Re: Forum threads taking forever to load

Wow! I signed in to comment on your post and it worked. Should I faint?! LOL

Seriously, I've been having trouble for almost a week. Every time I try to comment on a thread it places me on my account history page. Very frustrating!

Re: Forum threads taking forever to load

So glad to know it's not just me!! I thought our home computer was about to bite the dust. (I'm on my son's laptop right now.) I am only having problems with the QVC site, other websites are working fine. Thanks so much for posting!!!

Same here! I thought it was something or other slowing my computer down. Grateful that it's the Q site, but getting tired of how slow it is!

So glad you are happy with your basket Bobby K. I have several of his baskets and they are so detailed. I love the critters in this one but didn't order it. You enjoy your basket. Just don't go dropping it on your toes, would hate to see you hurt the basket.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I haven't waited till July to get myself in trouble. I preordered but guess they won't go on my bill till June or July so I am okay till then.

The forums are very annoying and hopefully they will get the problem fixed soon.

Hello JPC,

Well , well, well...I see you and MTH have already been up to no good and gotten yourself into trouble already with pre orders. I don't blame you at all. I'm about ready to place one myself. I just have to have his Frozen pieces...you know me and Disney. You are right about his Easter baskets. They are incredibly well made and so detailed (and heavy). The owl, chick, bunny and lamb eggs really make you smile. I was reading on another thread...where it sounds like you picked up another beautiful and special angel. I know how special his angels are to you....so glad you were able to get her. She is beautiful. And all the animals....so sweet.

I don't think you, MTH or me should be on the executive branch. We are all so bad. But, isn't it fun getting into trouble along the way Wink.

I hope the weather is warming up for you and that you and Mr. Crazy have a nice weekend , my friend. Trying to get in and post to these forums has just about gotten on my last nerve. No matter what browser I use....everything just spins and spins. I too hope they fix this soon. Both of us will need wigs...soon. Goodnight, JPC..

Hi Bobby K: I'm so glad you love your new JS basket. I have only one of his baskets which I got years ago but I still love it and it is always the centerpiece of my Easter decorations. You are definitely correct in that JPC and I will be in trouble come July although, like JPC, I have already pre-ordered the new pieces that I want to add to my collection. I think JCP has the best job around (treasurer of the JS "Enabling Club" and locking down computers from those of us shopping too much). It's a sick addiction, but lots of fun.

Hope you enjoy your new basket and have fun decorating for Spring.

Oh MTH,

You are soooo bad...JPC is bad and so am I. We can't even make it through a few months without preordering. I was telling JPC, I don't think any of us deserve to be on the executive branch. We all enable each other {#emotions_dlg.laugh}. I would love to hear what you've pre ordered. You are so right about the baskets. I can see after receiving mine ...why yours is the centerpiece of your Easter decorating. I was surprised as to how intricate they were and I was telling JPC.....the critter eggs are darling.

Have fun decorating for Spring, MTH. I hope you have a nice weekend ahead. Try and stay out of trouble....at least for the weekend Wink.

Hi Bobby K. I know we are bad but we could do much worse {#emotions_dlg.devil2}. I hope you get your Frozen pieces. I checked them out and it is amazing how they are spot-on. I think JPC and I have gone after the same pre-order. JS has three new pieces in his Woodland collection (angel, snowman & Santa), and the Santa and Snowman in particular are too much for me to pass up. These pieces have woodland animals with each figurine and are all white with very light bits of light blue coloring. They are very intricate and the animals are just too gorgeous to pass up. I'm sure the Q will get them once the pieces come available but right now you can see them on JS website under the "New Items" section for pre-order only. I used to get coupons every once in a while from the JS site so I'm sort of hoping one comes so I can ease the pain of the next order just a little. Check them out if you get a chance.

Have a great Saturday.

Good morning Bobby K,

I see that they still haven't fixed this problem. I just don't have the patience to mess with it. This has really gone on long enough.

Yep, in trouble again, I think that is my middle name. Mr Crazy loves the angel and he said his 1st look, it reminded him of DD. I am going to have to check out the Frozen pieces. Are they on the JS site under Frozen???

We have had some beautiful days the past couple and suppose to be in the upper 50's again today but then tomorrow that nasty four letter word, SNOW. Possibly 2". I can't believe this weather. We have lost most of our snow so hey why not.

You have a good weekend Bobby K.

Still taking a long time! I just got on line and this was my last post from yesterday. It took forever.

It's not my computer because this is the only website this is happening to.

I don't have a problem. Maybe you have virus's you should check that out.

All of us...?

I tend not to think that's the issue.

I don't have a problem.

The preponderance of us then...

And while IE has it's own set of seemingly built in delays, for this site, lately, Chrome nor Firefox seem to be able to avoid the slow, jumping and lurching loading either.

If you aren't experiencing any of it, consider yourself fortunate, but since there are both a number of posters here and the forums have many a thread expressing similar experiences, it would seem to be a wide-ranging problem for many regulars and no, I don't think we all have malware... It's the site.
