For the Christmas deer lovers....

you might want to check out Hobby Lobby. They had many different styles to choose from. I have my eye on a couple, but since they weren't on sale I decided to wait. Another thing they had a bunch of were the finials/cone-shaped decor. Honestly, they just had a bunch of EVERYTHING Christmas! I ended up just getting some Fall things 50% off. Sure was fun looking!

@country gal,  thanks for the info.  It's been a couple of weeks since I've been to HL but I'll go soon.  Been waiting for the 40% off on Christmas.

Re: For the Christmas deer lovers....

I will have to check again but I was in my HL last Saturday and there wasn't much new to look at and I didn't see any deer that would be on my radar.  My store is typically slow in the Christmas area.  Even last year it seemed to take forever for them to have all their items out.  I'll check back over the weekend.

Re: For the Christmas deer lovers....

Is it just me, or has HL had the same stuff every year for the past few years.  I do enjoy the Robert Stanley collections, but other than those items, it seems like I've seen it all before.  I just started shopping at Michael's last season, so I look forward to see if they switch it up this year.  The Halloween stuff is different there than last year, so hopefully the Christmas stuff will be new, too.

@PeterDM,  Peter, did you see the iced picks at HL?  I looked at them a couple of weeks ago and I want to get some of those.  They are just $1.00 each but I'm waiting for the 40% off.  I may go ahead and pay full price because if I'm not there when they go on sale they will be gone.  They are small but would work in a lot of places.

@lucymo, I think I know which picks you're talking about.  I had a garland in that style for the past few years.  I tossed it at the end of last season, because the beads were falling off and it was starting to look tattered.  I'm hoping we see the Bayleaf Picks (H203848) from last year.  The silver ones looked beautiful in the white trees in the bedroom.  The silver Cedar picks (H200714) didn't really read well on my main tree in the living room.  They looked good being tucked into displays, but I think I'd like to have more bayleaf picks for the main tree this year.

@PeterDM,  I hope they do bring back the bay leaf picks too.  I received one set and the other sets that I ordered showed shipped but never made it to the carrier facility and since they were sold out, I just got a refund.  It's looking like Valerie will bring us some of the items that the same as LR's or new items in that same type.

I also tossed some garlands that I bought from Valerie about ten years ago.  They had become favorites and I just kept cleaning and using them but they were looking really worn.
