Bunny Brigade. I love the sound of that. I didn't start my bunny obsession until last year. I guess this forum is really bad for me!!!

These pictures make me do an "I WANT!" LOVE the picks in the glass, as shown... you must be enjoying yours, MTH. I have been growing to love my beaded fruit wreath with every turn. It "glows" with a soft sheen in the part-darkness of our fam. room. Such enjoyment!

I really do love those cedar picks. I think they will have plenty of uses. Too bad the silver ones are gone in that style. Maybe next year we will be able to get a silver set. In the meantime, i'll wait for the silver bay leaf ones to come and see how they fit in together with the others. I have the same "darkness" issue in my family room. I actually had a wall knocked out and put in french doors to open it up to our backyard but the room is long and needs some help in the darker parts. That was actually the reason for the second tree. I put it all the way across the room into the dark part and I love it during the Christmas season to see it all lit up. Let us know if you get any of the picks.

Hi MTH,

Gave you a shout out in the now poofed thread. Hope you are feeling better today.

Have a good one and rest up.

Hi JPC: I actually do feel better today. Guess I needed a good night's sleep. A little stuffy but that's it. Thanks for asking. I guess I missed the whole thread that was poofed. Sounds like it was a Lisa bashing thread? Not sure why folks find it necessary to do that. This is supposed to be fun!! I enjoyed Lisa's show. I like a little entertainment too or else it would be boring as all heck to watch. Just me!

Did you order anything last night too? Just the silver version of the bay leaf picks for me. I think I'm pretty much done for the season unless something comes up that is new and I just have to have. Also have to think of the storage issues. My poor attic is all Christmas. No basements for us in Florida so my storage is limited.

The only thing I ordered was the white branches and having 2nd thoughts on them. One because of the delayed shipping and another cause the branches on my tree aren't as close as the ones they are now selling & I think it will be hard to tuck them into the branches without them looking like I laid them there and having the wire show. Guess I have a few days to decide.

Glad you are feeling better.

JPC

I think those white branches would be beautiful in a nice vase too. I think I'll go ahead and wait for them. They should have told us that they were advanced sale. I clicked on the delivery on product page and they had Dec 5th for my zip code. I didn't do that though last night or I would have known and probably not ordered.

I was at Macy's Christmas shop yesterday, and saw the branches, but not in a pure white, so passed them by. Since my flocked tree isn't all white, I am not sure if the white will look good, but I will decide once I try them out, and yes, they will look great in a vase. I can see them interspersed in a garland on a mantle also. I bought some holly and berry sparkly tall branches to put in a vase during Christmas.

Wow...I haven't been to our Macys yet. I bet mine is ready for Christmas too. Since I planned on doing some cleaning but haven't been doing a very good job at that, I may pull out some of my Q boxes and start seeing what I ordered. If I'm really feeling squirrely, I might climb in the attic and pull down a few of the BL wreaths and play with those picks.

JPC...I actually played with Valerie's jingle bell wreath we both bought during CIJ and the white picks work well with that.

Hi MTH,

I didn't get the jingle bell wreath during CIJ so that won't work for me. I had ordered the garland to put on my kitchen light but then cancelled as it didn't look like it would bend much. I have seen it on as is and have been tempted but haven't ordered yet. Must be someone else you are thinking of.

JPC

Oh JPC: I'm sorry. I meant the garland. I didn't realize you had cancelled your order. I guess this cold affected my brain. The garland does bend a good bit. I liked it because I needed something skinnier than my BL garland for my mantle and this fits that bill. It has some flocking on it so the white picks blend pretty well. I also saw it on the "as is" section and thought about ordering it and returning the one for full price, but I really like it and I'm ok with what I have. I guess bending it around your kitchen light depends on the light, but it would actually work on my light. However, there is enough flocking that is shedding when I mess with it, that it might not be the nicest thing to have over your table. Guess once you got it in place it would probably be just fine. Did you see how the LR set last night had that chandelier adorned with the picks? It was a little too busy for me to have over my table, but it did look nice on a set.

I did see Lisas light last night and thought it was cool too but there is no way on this earth that I could make mine look like that.

My light has 5 lights on it that hang down, a lot like the one valerie uses except she has the shades and mine are frosted glass that hand down. Hope that makes sense. I still look at the as is and debate on it.

Bet the garland looks nice on your mantle. Thanks for letting me know that it bends pretty good.

I really did develop a pick obsession. Never thought I'd get so into them, but since I'm not the best decorator, these are just the easiest things to use and they look great with little effort. I'm ready for my trip to rehab now....{#emotions_dlg.sad}

Hello JPC and MTH, ok, I'm fessing up, I too have a pick obsession and I will be in rehab now. Not sure 9-step will do it for me, I'll need at least 12-step. I surely hope after Christmas we don't start the "Bunny Brigade" in full force. I do love the bunnies and am always prone to buying them too. {#emotions_dlg.ohmy}

Oops, did I say 9 step, should have said 12 step. No way can you two be cured in 9 steps.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

Hi mousiegirl, sounds like you are getting geared up for decorating. The tall branches sound really nice. I'm packing up harvest décor today since I learned Thanksgiving dinner won't be at my house this year. I'm ready to go Christmas and can do my dining room now. I was planning to leave the fall décor in there until after Thanksgiving.

I am ready to decorate for Christmas too, lucymo, but have to leave the Fall decor until the day after Thanksgiving as DD will be coming home, but I did decorate a small, skinny sparse faux green tree today and stood it in a corner in the kitchen just inside the door.Smile I need to grow a new body in order to get all Christmas decor up in three weeks.{#emotions_dlg.laugh}

I am thrilled I have one set of each color of these antiqued picks...all from canceled orders since I missed LR's show on Friday night.

I just added to our Fall decor...a turkey, a couple of sets of Pilgrims and American Indian decor to enjoy til after Thanksgiving.

On Black Friday I'll put all the Fall decor away while watching for sales online. The next day (that Saturday) I'll start putting up the holiday decor Smile
