@stevieb Agree.  I generally don't care for some of the posts featuring Florida homes because many of the ones chosen fall under the category "hokey coastal."  (I love coastal, but generally prefer the look of non-tropical coastal.)

This home however possess the feeling of warm weather lightness without going overboard.  Do we know where this house is located.  Northern Florida maybe?

This home, a reno by the way, is not a duplex. It's located on Florida's panhandle.

Completely agree with you stevieb.

The exterior and  huge glass windows were lovely. The pool and outside were pretty and inviting. There were some nice elements - some of the fixtures, the green lamp and bedside table and the interesting pattern of the chair fabric. I liked two of the bathrooms including the green patterned wallpaper and green shades which were different but a nice touch.

I thought there was too much bric a brac in the fourth shot.  I would not have chosen wicker furniture for the inside of this particular house which seemed better suited for outside.

I really like this, inside and out. I like the kitchen, with the exception of the lighting and the stools, they don't looke very comfortable. I like the colors used, and most of the decor-some is not my taste, but for the most part I think this done beautifully!

I like almost everything about this house. I would change the dark blue wallpaper in one bathroom and enclose the pool with a screen to prevent being eaten alive by mosquitoes. Otherwise, I'm ready to move in.

It's a nice house but so much of it is just not my personal taste or the colors I would use.  I was really drawn to that first bedroom (master?) although I'd make a few changes.  Also the outdoor kitchen area and outside pool area were beautiful!  

This house looks very similar to the style of houses I see at the beach in Florida!

The outdoor living in this house if fantastic.

The only thing I would change on the inside is replace the wallpaper on the Wetbar in the kitchen with a Bamboo color. It's just too much bright green for me.

It's a very cheery pretty house.
