Re: Floral Tile Art Backsplash

@Drythe

I like yellow, as you know, but for some reason, those branches look a bit menacing.  Maybe it's their height?  I have the sense I would feel a bit vulnerable being naked in the bath under those.  Woman Tongue Otherwise, I like the concept of decorative tile.  On the other hand, this isn't my bathroom, so why not?

I have soft yellow subway tile (solid color) as a backsplash in my kitchen.

Tile is so permanent; I'd be afraid I'd tire of a tile installation long before it would be feasible to replace it.

@Kachina624   I was going to say the same.   I have 8" tile in my kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry.........and it's so passé, I could scream......but it would be major remodel to replace.   di

When I saw the title, I thought I'd love it.

I'm on the fence about it - needs toning down, maybe a white background or pale yellow?

Re: Floral Tile Art Backsplash

I might like it if it was done with a white background and all blue flowers.

I think the color is overpowering.  Something softer might be okay.  But I agree with the view that tile is too "permanent" to have something like this.

I love the concept but I don't like the color or the pattern for a bathroom.

Not my taste but for the right person and decor, it is okay.  I wonder what the trick is to applying the tiles to the wall and keeping the pattern accurate.  Cat Happy

I like it--however----not easy to change out when needed ---too specific and probably pricey to re do-----Maybe if the background wasn't yellow , more neutral.

It’s beautiful tile work. I just don’t know if it belongs in that space.
