Re: Flocked Small Tree for the Bedroom

@Zsazsa  I saw some really nice flocked ones at Walmart in smaller sizes yesterday.  Price was low too.  I just got one from Michaels but believe they are sold out now, so don't wait if you are interested in a flocked tree.  They seem to always sell out first.

@Regal Bee - Love the soft, gentle effect of the flocking.  Did you buy the flocking in a can and spray it on?  I'd like to try something like this on a garland or swag.

Re: Flocked Small Tree for the Bedroom

Thank you, @CAcableGirl2, but I think it was Beckyblu who was looking for a flocked tree. After several attempts, I purchased two of the 4ft flocked trees in urns from QVC. The trees were lovely,  it the urns were broken and poor quality. Finally I had the last two I purchased repaired/improved...but they are far from perfect. I will work on them more before displaying them.

I just love flocked trees!

Ms Regal - very pretty, wish I had a fireplace in my bedroom!  When people make funny comments just ignore them, don't let them get you down.  I have adapted the phrase if the young kids  ---

@Regal Bee

Obviosly some gals have forgotten what their Mama's taught them.  If you can't say anything nice say nothing.

I think your bedroom and the tree are beautiful and elegant.  I look forward to more pictures.

May I ask an honest question?   I see these pictures from time to time on here and - - (boy, is this every going to brings arrows my way)   is that really YOUR bedroom?   When I see fuzzy muted colors and other unrealistic settings; it appears to me to be a cut and paste from some website.  Yes, it's beautiful and relaxing - but the top picture just doesn't look like it was taken with a real home-owned camera.

  @fthunt,I am wondering what is it you are finding unrealistic in  this room? I understand the reaction to the photography particularly if you did not know her skill that many of us are familiar with.

@Regal Bee...beautiful bedroom.  I own a print shop and on many of the photos that we use in brochures, flyers..depending on the style I am looking for I 'feather' the edges of photos, it gives the photo a very soft look on the edges, it changes he whole look of the photo.

@Mom2Dogs  Thank you. I have softened the edges of my pictures for many years...I consider it my personal style and just love it.

Ladies, again, thanks for all the kind replies. As with everything in life....not everyone can be kind. So be it.
