You can have it done by the tree lot, or buy some cans of flocking, but this is messy. I remember doing it as a young girl.

That is a wonderful memory and thank you nana59 for the info! It does seem like a very involved process and my husband definitely doesn't have the patience for that!

I love flocked trees, I'd prefer an artificial one though, less messy! I wish I could find a small flocked tree, but have not be able too!

Maybe I'm just out of the loop, I've never known anyone who had this done nor have I seen anyone who does it including anwhere I've purchased my trees in the last 35 years since I've been married! Like I said I live in NYC. I will look for those cans of flocking online, I'm sure I can find them, Thanks!

Icicles!!! Growing up our tree had tons of icicles on it, I loved it!!!

I get flocked trees here at several tree farms. I like the cut your own if you have a tree farm nearby. There is also spray flocking which I've used. I don't apply it heavily and use it in a well ventilated area or outside and let it dry well!

I purchased the Bethlehem Lights Woodland Flocked Tree that Lisa presented in July. I adore this tree. Only a teensy, tiny bit of flocking comes off. Hardly any to speak of. It is lightly flocked, not that overly done flocking. I just got through decorating it and it was a joy and so easy and no mess. Bought the Multi and I love the flocking on this one. It's really a special tree and stunning lit or not, decorated or no decorations. I have 2 trees this year, plus we are in a new home, so I have no idea where I am putting everything. So, I started early and am taking my time. I like to have it all done in and out by Thanksgiving day. I am getting older and it takes me a little longer. If you do get a flocked tree just make sure it's lightly flocked. Most are over kill with flocking.
