This 2500-square-foot custom villa, originally designed for TV personality D*** Clark, was modeled after the Bedrock home to blend in to its mountainous surroundings in the hills of Malibu.
However, it's not just the exterior—complete with private beach and beautiful views— that channels Fred and Wilma's stone age abode. The interior is filled with stone-like features from floor to ceiling—even furniture and a cleverly-cut window—that matches the cartoon. An all-stone master bath and bedroom filled with animal-like textiles gives even more of an all-natural look.
Originally listed for $3.25 million, the home's price came tumbling down $250,000 in the summer of 2013, and without a buyer in sight, the price was again reduced. Property records show the rock solid home sold on December 17, 2014 for just half of its original asking price: $1,777,777.
What do you think? The views are nice, but I dislike the odd distorted shapes of the rooms, windows, cabinets, and most of the furnishings. It’s also too much of the same color (or lack thereof) for me.

WOW, that is one .... uh .... interesting house. I'm not quite sure what to say about it. It would definitely be a big ole NO for me, but I'm sure it appeals to someone out there!

Interesting house. Did the buyer raze it and start over?

It would have to be a no for me. It gives me the feeling that I would be living in a cave.

Maybe if I was a caveman or dinosaur I would like it.😬
But just looking at it gives me claustrophobia (which I don't usually ever have!)

It would be cool to take a tour of this place.
I think I like the bedroom picture the best.

It's nice to look at....but I wouldn't want to live there. I don't do a whole lot on Pinterest anymore but, at one time, I had this house pinned. I'm sure I still do....I'll have to go check it out.

In a rocky desert setting, I love it!
I like 'different' and unique things!

This is a big NO for me, I was uncomfortable just looking at the pics.....

That is interesting- it kinda makes me 🤭 chuckle. It would be neat to go through it and that view is spectacular!
