Flameless Candles @ Kohls today

[ Edited ]

I think they were called Matchmaker. Never heard of them before - they have same idea as Luminara - flickering flame style.

I forgot my 30% coupon so I didn't buy them today. My solare candles have slowly stopped working, so I'm in the market for 4-5 affordable replacements.

Has anyone tried these first time I saw them.

Never heard of them. If you do get them, let us know what you think.

I have tons of and love Luminara, but I highly recommend the Candle Impressions Mirage line. Much longer battery life, programmable timers (love those!) and such a great price.

@Mominohio -  I agree about the Mirage line by CI.   I like them as much as the Luminara candles I have.They are a great value and today the set I bought is on sale as a Top Find - 2 for $25.

I looked at those the other day too. I have bought flameless candles from Kohl's before and they were pretty good. But I can't remember the brand. One thing about Kohl's is they're generous return policy so I guess we coukd just give them a go and find out!

@twinsister

I like my Mirage better than many of my Luminara. I have the set you got today, in red, green, grey, honey and two sets of each. I really love the mottled look, and I think CI does color so much better than Luminara. Most Luminara colors are either boring (which is ok for things like ivory or cream) or straight up unattractive. I do really enjoy my ivory scrolled Luminara, though.

I ordered a set of three Mirage this week in burgundy

and can't wait to see if I like these as much as the others.

I ordered several sets of CI Mirage today to give as gifts since they were on sale again. I've had mine since  CIJ last summer (2015) and they get used for up to 8 hours per night, all year long. Still going strong, and I cannot believe how long the batteries last.

Re: Frameless Candles @ Kohls today

I just happen to flick over to Q and saw the mirage (H205807) set of candles. Read the reviews mostly positive.

Just talked with my friend she reminded me these matchmaker candles do not have flickering flame but the higher priced ones do.

I'm going to check it out tomorrow. Yes, I do like Kohls return policy --( my solare candles from q died after 7 months).

Thank you for your feedback!

@Mominohio - I would love to get another set in the honey color that you have, but it is sold out.  It is such a different color.  Hopefully it will come back in stock.  I bought the red and may buy another set in blue also sincie it is such a good deal.  The mottled look is so pretty.  The set of three you bought is very nice.  I would get those also, but the only color I can use is the ivory and I have so many already in that shade.

Enjoy your new candles!

I just tried to order the candles in blue and they are sold out.  Guess this brand is popular!

@twinsister

If you have the time and want to put in the effort, keep refreshing the page and the blue may come back in. What happens is that during a presentation, people panic order, thinking things are selling out. In a few hours or the next day, they cancel their orders, and colors pop back into stock.

They 'sold out' of the green tonight, but it has popped back in stock several times, and I was able to order three sets after they had been 'sold out' for awhile.
