It's just heartbreaking.
Their website says that they finished selling their assets in 2012.
So many of these companies were located so close together. They'd typically shut down in July for 2 weeks and we'd take a roadtrip as many offered their Summer Sale during their shutdown. Homer Laughlin (Fiestaware) still does in June.
We bought beautiful pieces from Lenox when they were still in PA. I still have a beautiful Christmas candle holder from LE Smith.

Mominohio, you are very welcome. I'm with you on American made glassware. It's been so painful to see all of the glass and pottery places close. Homer Laughlin and Hall China are still in Ohio and W.V. I've been to their factory outlets a couple of times, and hope they stay open. I went to the Fenton factory years ago, and seeing all of that gorgeous glassware at the same time was like overdosing. LOL!
