I haven't had any type of alcohol for so long that I don't remember, but this is probably the one I had.  I don't remember disliking it!  Smiley Happy

If I'm going bubbly, I'd be more inclined to go for a Prosecco than a champagne, but I have had the Perrier-Jouet pictured in the OP, and it's good.  But frankly, I think it's all lost on me.  I prefer a glass of wine.

I only drink it if someone else is buying, if you get my drift!

When we tailgate in the fall, someone always serves mimosas for an early game (11am)

I've had good champagne at weddings and at Christmas

If I'm buying, it's usually Asti Spumante.

I do love good champagne.

Re: Favorite champagne?

[ Edited ]

Back in my nights at the dance club it was Korbel Brut. Not pricey and a good hostess gift if you want to gift champagne.

One New Years a restauranteur gifted me a bottle of Dom Perignon. Can't recall more than the label and being flattered by his generosity.

Now it's diet ginger ale or a Perrier. 😉

Once a year, I buy Korbel Brut so we can have a New Year's Eve toast. I'd love to buy the Dallas brand.

What a fun thread, @GingerPeach! Though I am not one to come home from work and have an adult beverage... I absolutely love a glass of champagne or prosecco when we are out to dinner.

I love Veuve cliquot rose brut... that is my favorite! The pretty bottles of Perrier Jouet sway me to name that as a favorite as well. Really, anything bubbly and dry is a winner for me.

I even like my water bubbly... Pellegrino and Le Croix being my favorites!

@GingerPeach

Back when I was drinking champagne, the Perrier & Jouet brand was our favorite.

We even found a gift set that included the glass decorated ice bucket and 6 painted flutes.  What a nice memory !
