Doesnt seem to be many recent posts on this. I recently starting collecting them and wondering which ones you all like. Also how big your collection is? I have around 20 in my stash.
My favorite scents of my top five brands are:
1. Roasted Espresso, Crossroads Candles
2.Toasty Hot Toddy, Goose Creek Candles
3.Warm Buttered Bread, Village Candles
4.Holiday, Trapp Candles
5. Cafe al Fresco, Yankee Candles
I do love Slatkins as well. They require no maintenance at all and burn great.
Thanks in advance for your suggestions, Susi.

My favorite is Slatkin candles. It's the only brand I can burn with my allergies. I love the Peppermint Bark and Cnady cane kisses. I try to stock up at Christmas to have enought to burn thru the winter season.

My stash is huge......I love Candles! I burn them all the time. My favorites so fare are:
Homeworx
Pure Integrity
Bridgewater
Nest Candles
Bath and Bodyworks
Gold Canyon
I also love Melts, and love these companies for the best wax melts!
Nene's Kitchen Melts
Cuyahoga
Happy Wax
Front Porch
I probably have several different melts and probably 15 or so candles in my Candle Closet! Love burning and melting, especially in the Fall/Winter months!

If I showed a picture of what I have *stashed* at this house alone, people would think I'm nuts.
I have dozens of pillars, and hundreds of votives and a handful of ball shaped candles.
All different scents (colors to coordinate room decor). Mine are all unboxed (which is a no-no by many), but the aroma that comes from all of them is delicious!
I only have PartyLite candles--a neighbor used to host parties and I was hooked. She is no longer is part of it, so I buy them online.
I. can't. help. myself. !!!
Once we're in for the night, I light several in the livingroom, and maybe one in the kitchen.
I love candlelight.
There was a thread the other day asking what your favorite sound was to hear, I swear I wanted to say *candlelight*.

I am a candleholic. I have tons in my stash. My 3 favorites are Goose Creek, Crossroads (love the buttered maple syrup the best) and Bath and Body Works. I burn them nightly after getting home from work.

Yes, I love melts as well. Trapp are my favorite. Their candles are pricey, and is a good way to try out scents, so as not to have a whole candle that is not a good scent. Just got some pumpkin Happy Wax, very nice. I do like the Wallflower plug ins and 3 wick candles at Bath and Bodyworks too.
I actually had to stop counting after 20 in my stash, is scary, but nice to have them lined up in my china cabinet. I was also wondering if it is ok to burn one for a few hours, and then put away for a few weeks and try others? Not sure how long the scent remains once they are burned, or if the go bad after a while.

I've never put a burned one away.
Maybe you can do like I do, when someone gifts me a candle of another brand. I burn it outside on the patio table. I'd hate for it to go to waste.
I keep mine stored on trays under my couches. They're not boxed. The scents don't fade . You can smell them while sitting in the living room--some times, not all the time.

I love burning candles - I use jar and tea lights. Just everyday brands I get at the grocery store (I'm always on the prowl for sales).
I have a pretty big hoard stash. Right now I'm burning apple cinnamon and sugar cookie. I've got fragrance and color for all seasons. I start every day lighting candles and often burn one on the nightstand before I sleep. I'm very diligent about cleaning the HVAC register filters! I trim the wick each time.
Have a good day. Enjoy burning!
@Susic, I've extinguished them and put them away and then used them at a later time, and they've performed well (candles, that is, not melts - HTH)

Thanks, good to know they will keep. I do keep
my already burned ones on my desk in bedroom, and brand new ones in cabinet. I keep them covered, although the more expensive ones don’t come with a lid. I change my a/c filters every three months, and was shocked to find them completely black the first time I started using candles daily. I had several going at a time, most of day. I think I know which candle caused it, and have thrown that brand out and just light one candle for a few hours a day, and then melts. I have been checking the filters once a week, and so far so good . I do keep wicks trimmed and enjoy working on my candles . Had a few tunnel on me, so am always twirling them around and digging at wax to keep even, kind of fun. But I must give Harry Slatkin credit, his just burn evenly and no work needs to be done.

Maybe 40 different candles from Root candles. Different scents as I usually buy what's on sale.
My current faves are short, 5" dinner tapers that are unscented. Casual and a nice touch for cozy winter dinners.
Scented? Still burning my red peppermint candles.
