*********** Yes, I know what you mean. My daughter has had primitive, traditional, farmhouse, and now modern farmhouse. None of them look like my grandma's farm house or what I would call farmhouse. There is however an element of three three of those in her home now. I now call her home "whatever she likes"! She somehow pulls it off but then she has a real eye for decorating.

I like it but really do prefer off white. Stark white has gotten too bright for me but it does work here.

The area rug and the valance would have to go.

This is nice but I'm pretty much over white kitchens. The Valance, Flooring and the small amount of shiplap that I see would have to be changed out though.

I like the kitchen, definitely not what I would consider "farmhouse", but I think there's a little bit too much white, perhaps if the bottom part of the island was painted blue to match the tile it would help break up all the white....
