There is so much of what they call farmhouse, that just......isn't.

Love that bed though!

Not really what I'd call a "farmhouse". Maybe for someone who has never seen or been in a real "farmhouse". Like the mansions in Rhode Island that they call their cottage.

Yes....the "write up" on this mentioned not only farmhouse.... but cottage and southern style.  That bed is beautiful. That must be the southern!

Looks like a great location and some nice elements but the overall decor doesn't do much for me... I do like all the windows, the fireplace, the bench at the foot of the bed, and dining room chairs... That's about it...

@jubilant

I like most of it - it's just overkill on the shiplap.  Just too much on all walls & ceiling.  I would at least paint some of it to break it up.

I also don't like at all the "cagey looking" light fixtures in the kitchen & dining rooms.  I love the artwork over the fireplace.  That scene is tranquil.

.. not to mention a water view!  Gotta love that.

Thanks for sharing.

Any home by a lake or ocean is fine with me.  I do like this home but it does need some perking up here and there.  I would put curtains up,, prints, to add color and just make the place a bit warmer and cozier.

 I like it as is...some type of window covering would be practical for hot days but that's about all I would change.

It is more Coastal than Farmhouse to me.
