I am too, especially back here in the woods with 5 x 3 ft windows.  

We can't see the rest of the house, I'll wager there are big windows everywhere with those surroundings.

@Oznell  Agree. The chimney is so nice. Believe me, I'm not all in on the decor itself. The room does read dark and I'm not much of a fan of all that black appearing leather furniture, but there is a cozy and comfortable feeling about the space, making one feel they'd be protected from the elements.

This could have been my parent's house.  Corner FP but with big round rocks and wider, similar mantle, window in same place with same kind of shades.  The walls make your picture room very dark.

I do like the cozy rustic cabin, EXCEPT a leather couch would be cold in the winter....so I would replace it with a fabric couch

My late best friend and family lived in a log cabin complete with a stone fireplace and pecky cypress walls, a loft and huge living room.  Everyone who walked in that home complimented.  There was enough light coming in from the windows at the front and side.  This area reminds me of that log cabin which I loved and spent much time there.  I always felt so comfortable and seeing this look brought me back to that log cabin.

The only thing I would change is the furniture.........don't like leather furniture.
