@Bettyanne, I'm straightening up my garage this afternoon so I can put my Summer decor up. I'll put my Fall decor out this weekend. And I am looking forward to it. This Summer has been long and hot and I'm ready for a change.

Facebook pics.

The coziest welcome starts right at the front door.

An entrance dressed in autumn’s finest colors...

I will put the fall garden flag out on September 1st and say I'm done.

@RedTop You got me beat!  Wreath on the door, chrysanthemums in two pots on the porch, and I go have lunch.  On my list for next week!

Re: Fall decorating

[ Edited ]

I love seeing these vignettes of front door treatments.

These all seem to have very dark front doors and a lot of stonework.

I enjoy the florals, pumpkins, laterns, but honestly, I am not going to do cornstalks or hay bales and try to pretend my home is a farmhouse.

I decorate the first of August with Sunflowers, September 1, I use all fall decorations and integrate them with the sunflowers. Just love Fall decorating, you get a lot of mileage out of fall, I take them down the last days of November. December 1, is my Christmas decorations. Fun, fun, fun!
